The Okanagan Aikikai is pleased to host a Spring Seminar

Kenji Yoshimi Sensei, godan, is a longtime and loyal deshi of Kawahara Sensei who gave him permission to teach weapons during Kawahara Sensei’s summer camps.  Currently Osawa Sensei also designated Yoshimi Sensei to teach weapons classes during CAF camps.

Yoshimi Sensei’s teaching THEME is about Connection on many levels. Connecting Kawahara Sensei’s teaching with Osawa Sensei’s teaching.  Connecting Kenjitsu weapons training with aikido training. Connecting energy and movement between nage and uke.

Practice schedule:

May 30, Saturday

10 am to 12 pm; 1 pm to 4:30 pm

May 31, Sunday

10 am to 12 pm; 1 pm to 4:30 pm

NOTE: Practice location to be determined but tentatively it is at 1493 KLO Road

Fees:

$60 for 2 days; $40 for one day

Student and unemployed fees are $30 for 2 days; $20 for one day
